INTERNAL REPORTING CHANNEL OF SASMAT RETAIL S.L.

SASMAT RETAIL S.L. (hereinafter, SASMAT RETAIL or Company) provides its stakeholders with an Internal Reporting Channel (hereinafter, Internal Channel) for all those affected by the companies, organizations, individuals or activities of the SASMAT RETAIL value chain to raise their concerns early, openly, knowledgeably and under a high level of protection so that they can be effectively addressed within the Company.

The Internal Channel is the preferred channel for reporting any conduct likely to constitute a breach of current legislation, as well as the Codes of Conduct and Corporate Policies of SASMAT RETAIL. This Channel is integrated into the SASMAT RETAIL Internal Reporting System, which is managed in accordance with the general principles set out in our Internal Reporting System Policy, available for consultation.

The Internal Channel also acts as a tool to identify and react to problems in the SASMAT RETAIL value chain that might otherwise go unnoticed.

How to report an infringement?

The Internal Channel allows the reporting of infringements anonymously, guaranteeing the right to maintain the anonymity of the reporter. However, voluntarily providing your personal data, such as name or contact information, may speed up and improve the investigation process. This information will be treated with the utmost confidentiality and will only be used for the purpose of clarifying the reported facts, which will contribute to a more effective resolution of the matter.

The report should contain the following information:

  • The type of misconduct you wish to report.
  • Identification of the persons committing the infringement.
  • Where it took place.
  • When it happened. Provide the time, date and whether it is recurring.
  • Any documentation to which you may have had access. If you do not have access to documentation but know it exists, include the type of documentation and where it can be found.
  • Details of any other action you have taken related to the misconduct.

In addition to this platform, SASMAT RETAIL makes the following means available to interested parties:

At the request of the reporter in the above means, the communication may also be made through a face-to-face meeting within a maximum period of seven days.  

Communications received through the Internal Channel shall be processed in accordance with the Internal Reporting Channel Procedure.

Note: It is important to read the contents of the Data Privacy link before sending a report. Do not send any personal data that is not clearly relevant to the communication. If, however, you send this type of information, we may delete it without informing you.
